I’m honored to be the invited alum speaker at this evening of curated student talks hosted by Barnard’s Speaking Fellows.

When they invited me, I don’t even think they knew that I was the 1985 Northern Oregon State Champion for Oratory for the real NFL: the National Forensics League. I hope to make my high school coach Mrs. Coughlin proud.

NEW YORK CITY! You asked for it, you got it. Another performance of PSA: PELVIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT in the city.

This is the show I took to London and which won the “Best Musical Comedy” when it played Off-Broadway at United Solo, the largest festival dedicated to solo theatre in the world!

I’m so very excited to perform this show at Caveat for multiple reasons: they have great popcorn toppings, and a crucial step in developing the show was performing a story version of it at Caveat with Story Collider, a fabulous organization that shares true, personal stories related to science. YES, this is a true, personal story related to science!

However, since then, it’s been transformed from a story into a multimedia extravaganza featuring original music, characters, true confessions, and a medical grading scale you never knew you needed.

Variety show with a title that has made me think about the meaning of life. It’s gonna be hilarious!!

This is going to be a killer show, put together by Hollie Harper and Emily Flake and featuring Joanna Briley, Yanjaa Westgate, and Joyelle Johnson. How can a show like this be FREE? Just support the bar by buying a drink.
